Manigance
Les Palois de Manigance have the distinction of being as well known - if not
more so - in Japan as they are in France. This flagship of French progressive
heavy metal began its career in 1995, releasing its first EP, Signe de Vie, in
1997. Ange ou Démon in 2002 enabled the band, which sings almost exclusively in
French, to gain a foothold in the Japanese market. D'un Autre Sang in 2004 is a
little more aggressive, without neglecting the melodic aspect. Mémoires... Live
in 2005 capitalizes on Manigance's stage skills. 2006's L'Ombre et la Lumière
