Mall Boyz
Formed in 2017, the Japanese hip‑hop group Mall Boyz emerged from a chance
meeting between Tohji, a Musashino Art University student, and gummyboy at the
campus’s activity hub. Their shared musical taste sparked the group’s creation,
and early collaboration with SoundCloud artist stei helped refine their sound.
Mall Boyz debuted with the EP Mall Tape on 26 December 2018, followed by the
single “Pool Side” on 18 August 2021. In 2023 they released the singles “Mango
