Malka Family
Malka Family, a French funk group formed in 1988 in Paris, emerged from the 1987
“Chez Roger Boîte Funk” parties organized by Joseph Guigui and Laurent “Isaac”
Cohen. Their album, Malka On The Beach, was released in 1991, followed by Tous
Des Ouf! in 1992 under Warner Music France and Fricassée 2 Funk, Fracassée 2
Freaks in 1994 with Big Cheese Records. The group toured extensively across
Europe and beyond, playing over 300 concerts until 1997 when logistical
challenges led to a split after the release of Fotoukonkass. Reformed in 2015,
