Malibu
Malibu is a Rio de Janeiro–based recording studio and creative label led by
owner-producer Kevin White that emerged in 2018 as a hub for cross-genre
collaborations in Brazil. Building early momentum around work with veteran
guitarist Pepeu Gomes, the imprint handled the release of his album Eterno
Retorno in 2018 and later co-credited the single “Palhaço Pierrot” as Pepeu
Gomes & Malibu in 2025, underscoring the studio’s role as both label and
creative partner. Malibu’s own artist identity moved to the fore in 2022 with
“Penelope,” a sleek pop collaboration credited to BIN, Vitão...
