Małgorzata Maria Ostrowska, born on May 2, 1958, in Szczecinek, Poland, is a
Polish singer who began her musical journey at an early age, learning to play
the violin and piano, and singing at 11 years old. Ostrowska's breakthrough came
in 1975 when she won first prize at the Soviet Song Festival in Zielona Góra for
her performance of "Słowiki" and later won the amateur contest at the Kołobrzeg
Soldiers' Song Festival with "Szalone chłopaki". From 1981 to 1991, Ostrowska
