Makaco el Cerebro (born Jordano Luciano De la Cruz on September 29, 1993, in
Hato del Yaque, Santiago de los Caballeros) is a Dominican singer-songwriter who
started writing and performing as a teenager, first stepping into music around
age 13 with the youth group Los Cronistas de la Esquina. In his early twenties
he moved to the United States, where he kept developing a tropical-urban lane
with longtime collaborators, including producer Richard de la Oz, and began
