Majid Derakhshani

Majid Derakhshani, born on September 12, 1956, in Iran, is a composer. He studied under renowned musician Mohammad Reza Lotfi and was among the earliest members of the influential Sheida Ensemble. During the 1970s, he collaborated with prominent Iranian musicians and released works such as Children of Spring with Hossein Alizadeh and Qasedak with poet Mehdi Akhavan Sales.
