Mai Charoenpura, born Mai on January 5, 1969, in Bangkok, Thailand, is a Thai
singer and actress. She launched her music career in 1989 with the album Mai
Muan. Notable releases include Mai Mai Kid Fai (1990) and Kwam Lup Sud Khob Fah
(1992). Charoenpura has also acted in various Thai television and film
productions, notably portraying Pring in the TV series Khon Rerng Muang (1988,
2002) and Lady Srisudachan in the 2001 film The Legend of Suriyothai. She
performed in concerts organized by former Thai prime minister Thaksin
Shinawatra.
