American singer, songwriter and guitarist Madison Cunningham was born on October
14, 1996 in Escondido, California, not far from Los Angeles. Growing up in a
large family with four sisters, she took up the guitar at the age of seven. She
soon began writing her own lyrics and melodies, and released her debut album,
Authenticity, at the age of 18 in 2014. She then imposed her universe blending
Americana, folk-rock and chamber pop, but allowed herself time to mature before
