Auttapon Prakopkong, better known as M The Star, was born on September 28, 1978,
in Chiang Mai, Thailand. As a teenager, he worked part-time as a singer at the
Public House in Chiang Mai, which fueled his ambition to become a professional
singer. His breakthrough came when he won The Star 2, a popular reality TV
program, in 2004 with Fifty point eight one percent of the audience's vote.
