M‑80 is a punk band formed in Rhode Island in July 1999 by guitarist Jeff Hanks and vocalist‑guitarist Dave Ladin, both former Racketball members, joined by bassist‑vocalist Christian Blaney and drummer Paul Sumner from Arson Family. Their album Don't Take It Away was released in 2001, and Put Down The BB Gun (2002) was released. Their single "Fight You for No Reason" appeared on Atlantic Records’ Future Icons compilation and was distributed with Blender magazine.
