Robin Scott, born 1 April 1947 in Croydon, Surrey, England, is an English singer
who founded the new‑wave and synth‑pop project M. After studying at Croydon Art
College and collaborating with Malcolm McLaren and Vivienne Westwood, Scott
worked as a songwriter and producer, producing for Roogalator and Adam and the
Ants before returning to the United Kingdom to record with a group of session
musicians called M. His breakthrough came with the single "Pop Muzik" (1979),
