Lyube are a Russian rock band from Lyubertsy, Soviet Union, that formed in 1989.
The ensemble was founded by the producer Igor Matviyenko and are famous for a
musical style that blends Russian folk, rock, and chanson with Soviet military
themes. The group includes the vocalist Nikolay Rastorguyev, who suggested the
ensemble's name, alongside members including Aleksey Tarasov, Alexander Erokhin,
and Sergey Pereguda. They achieved early professional recognition in 1991 with
