Luther Wright & the Wrongs formed in 1998 in Kingston, Ontario. The band began
as a side project for Luther Wright while he was part of Weeping Tile. After
that group disbanded following This Great Black Night (1998), Wright focused on
the Wrongs, which initially included Cam Giroux, Sean Kelly, Brian Flynn, Dan
Curtis, and Olesh Maximew. Their debut album, Hurtin' for Certain, was released
in 1997. The band's breakthrough came with Rebuild the Wall (2001), a bluegrass
