Luke Slater
Luke Slater, born 12 June 1968 in Reading, United Kingdom, is a British
electronic musician, DJ, and record producer who has focused on techno since the
early 1990s. After early exposure to his father’s reel‑to‑reel tape recorder and
drumming, he worked in local record shops such as Jelly Jam in Brighton and
began DJing at London’s Heaven nightclub in 1988. Slater’s first single,
"Momentary Vision", appeared in 1989, and he subsequently released material
under aliases including Planetary Assault Systems and LSD, with a series of
