Luísa Taubkin Maita is a Brazilian singer-songwriter born on April 27, 1982, in
São Paulo. Raised in a musical family by Amado Maita and Myriam Taubkin, she
began singing and recording jingles as a child in the Bixiga neighborhood. In
2001, she founded the band Urbanda before pursuing a solo career. Maita wrote
songs for Virginia Rosa’s album Samba a Dois in 2006 and co-wrote the track
“Beleza” for Mariana Aydar in 2009. In 2010, she released her debut studio
album, Lero-Lero, which featured collaborations with Paulo Lepetit and Rodrigo
