Luis Perdomo, born February 19, 1971, in Caracas, Venezuela, is an American jazz pianist and composer. At age 10, he began studying under Venezuelan musical icon Gerry Weil. By 12, Perdomo was already performing professionally on Venezuelan TV and radio stations. In 1993, at age 22, he moved to New York City after winning a scholarship audition for the Manhattan School of Music. His first album as leader, Focus Point, produced by Ravi Coltrane, was released in 2004.
