LOWERCASE
Lowercase, an American post-hardcore band from Palm Desert, California, was
formed in 1993 by guitarist and vocalist Imaad Wasif and drummer Brian Girgus.
The duo released their debut single "Two Songs" through Punk in my Vitamins in
1994. Their first full-length album All Destructive Urges... Seem So Perfect was
issued by Amphetamine Reptile Records in 1996. The band moved to San Francisco
and recruited bassist Justin Halterlein for their second album Kill the Lights,
released in 1997. Following internal tensions, Halterlein left the band, and
Tiber Scheer joined as his replacem...
