Louise Gold, born August 1974 in Potsdam, Germany, is a German pop singer. She
began playing guitar at age ten and started writing her own songs. Gold studied
vocals under Patricia Forbes, Neil Semer, and Eugenia Visconti. In 1998, she
began performing in various projects, including collaborations with FM Einheit
and the Ensemble für alte Musik Oberhausen. From 1998 to 2003, she worked with
Daniel Dorsch in the trip-hop duo Recorder, which won the Face the Audience
contest by Meisel Musikverlage and BMG. In 2013, Gold released her debut album
