Lou McGarity (born 22 July 1917, Athens), born Robert Louis McGarity, was an American jazz trombonist, violinist, and singer. He launched his career with Ben Bernie’s orchestra (1938–1940) and gained recognition as a member of Benny Goodman's orchestra and sextet during the 1940s. As a soloist, McGarity performed on tracks such as "Limehouse Blues" and "If I Had You", and provided vocals for the 1941 recording "Blues in the Night".
