Los Tupamaros, a Colombian tropical music orchestra founded in 1976 in Bogotá by
Fernando Jaramillo Paredes, emerged as an alternative to Los Ocho de Colombia,
quickly gaining popularity with hits like "La chica gomela" and "De mujer a
mujer". Their debut album Terrorismo rumbero was released in 1977. Throughout
