Lô Borges, born Salomão Borges Filho on January 10, 1952, in Belo Horizonte,
Minas Gerais, is a Brazilian musician and singer. He co-founded Clube da Esquina
and at age 18 collaborated with Milton Nascimento on the album Clube da Esquina
(1972). Their collaborative compositions included "Paisagem da Janela" and "Para
Lennon e McCartney." Lô Borges' self-titled solo debut —known as the “tennis
shoe” album— After a brief hiatus, he reappeared on Clube da Esquina 2 (1978)
and went on to record A Via-Láctea (1979), the family project Os Borges (1980),
and solo albums including Nuvem...
