Lloyd Spiegel, born in Melbourne, Australia, is a guitarist, songwriter, and
singer known for his work in blues, blues rock, and folk blues. He began
performing at age 10 and was influenced by artists such as Sonny Terry and
Brownie McGhee. At 13, he formed the band Midnight Special, which he fronted
from 1993 to 1998. Spiegel's solo career started in 1996, with extensive tours
