Little Birdy, an Australian indie rock band, was formed in Perth, Western
Australia, in 2002 by Katy Steele on vocals and guitar, Matt Chequer on drums,
Simon Leach on guitar and keyboard, and Scott O'Donoghue on bass. The band's
breakthrough came when their single "Relapse" gained popularity on alternative
radio stations like Triple J, leading to a signing with Eleven: A Music Company.
Little Birdy released their self-titled debut EP Little Birdy in October 2003,
