Lisa Loeb & Nine Stories

Nine Stories was formed in 1990 as a backing band for singer-songwriter Lisa Loeb, then a student at Berklee College of Music in Boston. The group's first major commercial milestone came with the single "Stay", which appeared on the soundtrack of the film Reality Bites in 1994 and reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States, also charting in the UK and Germany. The trio's sound — anchored by guitarist Tim Bright, drummer Jonathan Feinberg, and bassist Joe Quigley — was further showcased on the 1995 studio album Tails, which included the singles "Do You Sleep?...
