Lisa Knapp

English folk singer, songwriter and musician Lisa Knapp was born in the south London suburb of Balham in 1974. She took violin lessons as a child and played in the school orchestra, before moving away from classical music to electro and hip-hop in her teens. As an adult, she discovered British folk music and immersed herself in this universe. She took up the fiddle again and performed on the local scene.
