Lisa Hilton, born in San Luis Obispo, California, is an American jazz pianist
who began playing piano at around six years old. Inspired by her great-uncle,
Dutch pianist Willem Bloemendaal, Hilton initially focused on classical music
but later became interested in jazz and blues. Her compositions blended jazz,
blues, minimalism, classical, and avant-garde music, drawing inspiration from
artists like Thelonious Monk and Duke Ellington. After studying art and design
