Lion, an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1983, initially consisted
of ex-Tytan vocalist Norman Swan and former Lone Star guitarist Tony Smith. The
lineup was completed with bassist Alex Campbell, drummer Mark Edwards, guitarist
Doug Aldrich, and bassist Jerry Best. Their debut came with "Love Is a Lie" on
the Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter soundtrack in 1984. In 1985, they
released the EP Power Love, followed by their first album, Dangerous Attraction,
in 1987 under Scotti Brothers Records. Lion gained significant exposure with
their theme song for The Transformer...
