Linx
Linx, a British soul/funk band, was formed in 1980 and initially consisted of
lead vocalist David Grant, keyboardist Bob Carter, drummer Andy Duncan,
guitarist Canute Edwards, bassist Peter Martin, and backing vocalist Junior
Giscombe. Their breakthrough came with the single "Can't Help Myself" and the
follow‑up "So This is Romance", both released in 1981, which propelled Linx onto
the UK Singles Chart. The album Intuition (1981) peaked at number 8 on the UK
