Lino Patruno
Michele "Lino" Patruno, born on October 27, 1935, in Crotone, Italy, was an
Italian cabaret artist and musician. He started his career in Milan during the
mid-1950s with the Riverside Jazz Band and later co-founded the cabaret group I
Gufi in 1964, which performed on Italian stages and appeared in the film Idoli
controluce (1965) before disbanding in 1969. Patruno returned to jazz,
collaborating with notable musicians such as Albert Nicholas, Joe Venuti, and
Bill Coleman. His discography includes albums like Sento Il Fischio Del Vapore
