Memphis, Tennessee. He discovered his rapping talent at a young age and began
participating in freestyle battles during high school. Lil Wyte's early career
included being part of the local rap group Shelby Forest Click, whose demo tape
caught the attention of Three 6 Mafia. This led to his debut album Doubt Me Now,
released in 2003 under Hypnotize Minds, which sold over 135,000 copies without
promotion and featured notable songs like "Oxy Cotton" and "My Smoking Song".
