Eric Darnell Wright Jr. (born April 23, 1984), known professionally as Lil
Eazy-E, was an American hip hop and gangsta rap artist from Compton, California.
The son of rapper Eazy-E, Wright was raised by his grandmother and entered the
music industry in 2003 with self-written mixtapes. He signed with Virgin Records
and released the mixtapes Cali Untouchable Radio 14: Rebirth of Gangsta Rap
(2006) and This Ain't a Game [Hosted by Mixtape Messiah] (2006). After declining
a deal with Death Row Records in 2012 to remain with Ruthless Records, Wright
