Lidell Townsell is a house DJ, producer and singer from Chicago, active since
the late 1980s, associated with the house scene of his time. In 1992, he
collaborated with the group M.F.T. (also known as M.T.F., for "Music for the
Future") to release the single "Get with U", which blends house, hip-hop and
funk. The track was a hit in clubs and on specialist radio stations, reaching
No. 78 on the Billboard Hot 100, and appeared on the Mercury Records album
Harmony (1992), considered a house crossover classic of the early '90s.
