Liberty X
Liberty X, originally known as Liberty, was a pop/R&B group formed in 2001 by
five contestants from the UK edition of Popstars. The original lineup included
Tony Lundon, Kevin Simm, Michelle Heaton, Kelli Young, and Jessica Taylor. After
finishing as runners-up on Popstars, they signed with V2 Records UK and released
their debut single "Thinking It Over" in October 2001, which peaked at number 5
in the UK. Their second single, "Doin' It", was released in December 2001 but
reached only number 14 in the UK. Following a legal dispute over their name with
another group called Liberty...
