Lefteris Pantazis, born Eleftherios Pagkozidis on March 27, 1955, in Tashkent,
Uzbek SSR, is a Greek singer and songwriter often referred to by the nickname
“LePa”. Born to Pontic Greek parents who repatriated to Greece in the 1960s,
Pantazis began his professional career in the mid-1970s and released his first
record, Οι μεγάλες μου επιτυχίες, in 1979. His musical style combines elements
of traditional Greek folk, skiladiko, laïká, and modern pop. His recordings
include the albums Σε νοσταλγώ (1986) and Ταραχή (1989), and the songs “’Εχω
τρελάνει το Θεό” and “Το Ωραιότερο Πλάσμα...
