Les Petits Chanteurs de Saint‑Marc, founded in Lyon in September 1986 by Nicolas
Porte, were a mixed children’s choir of approximately forty boys and girls aged
nine to fifteen, all schooled at Collège Saint‑Marc. The group’s first public
breakthrough came with their contribution to the soundtrack of Christophe
Barratier’s Les Choristes in 2004, which elevated their profile across France
and internationally. Chronologically, the choir released Nos Rêves
on 14 November 2005, followed by the self‑titled Les Petits Chanteurs de
