Leona Machálková
Leona Machálková is a Czech singer born in 1967 in Zlín. She began her career at
age 18 performing with the musical groups Damiján and Znamení dechu. In 1991,
she moved to Prague where she joined the Semafor theatre. Machálková became a
prominent figure in Czech musical theatre, starring in productions including
West Side Story (1993), Jesus Christ Superstar (1994) and Dracula (1995). In
2000, she had a leading role in the musical Monte Cristo, which was the most
