Lenny Breau
Lenny Breau, born on August 5, 1941, in Auburn, Maine, was an American-Canadian
guitarist known for his groundbreaking fingerstyle technique and innovative
approach to jazz guitar. Raised in Canada, he began performing with his parents'
country music band as a child. Influenced by Chet Atkins, Merle Travis, flamenco
music, and jazz pianist Bill Evans, Breau developed a unique style that blended
