Lennon
Lennon Anne Murphy, born March 31, 1982, in Ronkonkoma, New York, is an American
singer who began playing piano at nine and performing in Nashville venues at
fifteen. After signing with Arista Records at eighteen, she released the single
"Brake of Your Car" and her debut album 5:30 Saturday Morning in 2001, using her
stage name Lennon. She later founded her own label, John Galt Entertainment,
releasing the acoustic album Career Suicide (2004) and I Am (2004). Murphy
toured with Aerosmith and Mötley Crüe in support of her 2006 album Damaged
Goods, which featured the single "Where ...
