Lemon Jelly is a British electronic music duo from London, formed in 1998 and comprising Fred Deakin and Nick Franglen. The duo initially met as teenagers but went their separate ways before reconnecting in the late 1990s and launching Lemon Jelly. They gained early traction with three critically acclaimed EPs—The Bath, The Yellow, and The Midnight—released between 1998 and 2000, which secured them a record deal with XL Recordings.
