Laurence Alexander Cummings, born in 1968 in Birmingham, United Kingdom, is a
British harpsichordist, organist, and conductor. Educated at Solihull School,
Christ Church Oxford, and the Royal College of Music, he performed continuo with
period‑instrument groups such as Les Arts Florissants and the Orchestra of the
Age of Enlightenment. His recordings include Couperin: Musique Pour Clavecin
