Lauren Christy is a British songwriter and record producer. She began her career
as a solo artist in the early 1990s after signing publishing and recording deals
with EMI and Polygram Records. Her 1993 self-titled debut album included “The
Color of the Night.” She received a nomination for Best New Artist at the 1994
American Music Awards, and “The Color of the Night” also brought her a Golden
