Laura Pausini
Born in northern Italy in 1974, Laura Pausini got off to a flying start with the
song "La Solitudine ", with which she won the 1993 Sanremo Competition. Since
then, she has established herself as a leading performer in her own country and
on the international market, as evidenced by the Grammy Award and three Latin
Grammy Awards she has won. A cross between international variety and pop rock,
she has built up a style all her own, and has performed numerous duets with
