Laura Izibor
Laura Elizabeth Arabosa Izibor was born in May 1987 in Dublin, Ireland, and
emerged as a soul and R&B singer. Early in her career she won the RTÉ 2FM Song
Contest as a teenager before signing first to Jive Records and later to Atlantic
Records. Her first single, "From My Heart to Yours," was released in 2008,
followed by "Shine" in 2009, which introduced her to a growing fan base. That
same year she issued her debut studio album Let the Truth Be Told, accompanied
