Las Cafeteras, a group from East Los Angeles, California, formed in 2005 as
students at the Eastside Cafe, a community space in El Sereno. They began by
practicing Son Jarocho music and quickly gained enthusiasm for promoting this
Mexican folk genre. Their debut album It's Time was released in 2012. The group
