Landscape were an English synthpop band formed in 1975 in London. The group consisted of Richard James Burgess, Christopher Heaton, Andy Pask, Peter Thoms, and John L. Walters. Landscape initially gained recognition through their live performances and tours, playing in various rock, punk, and jazz venues. They released two instrumental EPs on their independent label Event Horizon before signing with RCA Records. In 1979, Landscape released their debut studio album Landscape.
