Lama Gyurme, born on September 26, 1948, in Bhutan, is a Buddhist teacher and
singer known for his sacred chants. He began his musical journey at the Djang
Tchoub Tcheu Ling monastery, where he received traditional training in music
alongside his Buddhist education. His breakthrough came when he was appointed as
Oumzé (master of ceremonies) by Kalou Rinpoché during a three-year retreat at
Sonada Monastery. In 1974, Lama Gyurme moved to France and established the
