Lala Hsu
The Taiwanese pop singer Lala Hsu was born in Hualien County in 1984. After
leaving school she worked as a nurse in a veterans hospital in Taichung and then
at the age of 24 entered the reality TV talent show 'One Million Star' with a
song written by herself and the well-known Taiwanese singer Su Tongda. After
winning the competition Hsu's career took off rapidly and the following year she
released her debut album 'Lala Hsu' which went on to be nominated for six
prestigious Golden Melody Awards.
