Evangelos Polichronidis was born in Witten on September 20, 1978. He is a
hip-hop rapper who is considered a formative figure in Ruhrpott rap. Evangelos
Polichronidis began his rap career in 1998 in the formation Creutzfeld & Jakob.
At the end of the 1990s, the group attracted a great deal of attention in the
German underground scene with their releases. Since the 2000s, the German with
Greek roots has been performing as a solo artist under the name Lakmann One,
shaping the regional scene with his distinctive flow and local references.
