Lakeside
Lakeside, an American funk band hailing from Dayton, Ohio, was formed in 1969 by
guitarist Stephen Shockley. The group evolved through various iterations before
solidifying as Lakeside and eventually signing with Solar Records. Their debut
album for the label, Shot of Love, released in 1978, featured the single "It's
All the Way Live", which reached number four on the R&B charts. In 1980,
Lakeside achieved significant success with their third studio release, Fantastic
